“Jason coached me in the 2016/17 season at Brunel University. He coached weekly S&C sessions and attendance was vast, which says a lot about the session! The sessions focused on core strength, footwork and power, all ideal for improving football performance, with the use of innovative games and competitions to enhance competitive nature of the session.

Personally, I benefitted a lot from the power development focus. Being a centre back I need to be able to jump higher than the attacker to win headers and accelerate quicker to gain an advantage over my opponents. I really noticed a difference in this aspect as well as my general fitness, with the improvement showing in my performances.

Jason is a very engaging coach and had the players bought in from the start. His instructions are clear and concise. “Jason worked with me from August 2016 to May 2017 during my time as Head coach of Brunel men’s football team as lead S&C coach. Jason was responsible for establishing and maintaining a strength and conditioning program for 60+ players with three major goals of improving athletic performance, reducing athletic injuries, and teaching lifelong fitness habits.

Jason is self-motivated, perceptive person with excellent interpersonal skills whose S&C sessions delivered were bespoke, engaging and cohesive to individual players. Sessions were meticulously planned and tapered around the fixture schedule and whilst always fun, pushed the athletes to their maximum.
